Office Design
2017
The company for this office design is New Belgium Brewery. This company has two other office locations in the United States. An additional office was designed for the company in Woburn, MA. Using an existing floor plan and research to find a functional layout for all employees and visitors I created a new office to accommodate up to 45 employees.
The Cafe on the first floor allows visitors to grab a bite or coffee before going to their meeting upstairs. This space could also be a meeting space. A lit bottle wall is the back wall for the reception desk. Bar stools and tables made from recycled bicycle tires brings back the concept.
This is the open office space on the second floor. Floor to ceiling windows let in plenty of natural light. A green bicycle path runs throughout the space as a way finding technique. The bicycle wheel shaped light fixture on the ceiling brings in the concept.
The Conference room accommodates up to 16 people with a removable wall to the small conference room to open up more space when needed.
The dining booths located outside the kitchen area is for the employees to use for lunch break or small meetings. The bike path is shown here which helps visitors way find through the office.
